Transglobal Underground have been notorious breakers of rules and musical barriers for 30 years now. Over the years they've been a music/DJ collective, a working band famous for it's scorching live shows, a techno soundsystem, a festival rabble rouser, a pop group, a club night, a Middle East hit production team, an improvised study group for Indian classical music, an Albanian brass band and several things that no one who was there at the time would admit to if they could even remember them. Their initial single 'Temple Head' is still a 1990's anthem and their most recent album 'Walls Have Ears' garnered great reviews and radio play even in the depths of lockdown. In between the two there's 30 years of constant creativity. Check it out.

RUMA JHUMA Natacha Atlas and Sheema Mukherjee have worked together onstage for many years; this was their first recording session together. During the session Sheema sang a traditional Hindi lyric about waiting at night for a love. Natacha joined in spontaneously in Arabic; it was only after the session they realised the lyrics were almost identical.
